Tribe CFO Business Intelligence and Analytics is a data driven department in CFO of over 100 enthusiastic colleagues that design, build and deploy reporting and analysis applications in predominantly Microsoft Azure technology for a wide scope of internal customers such as the Managing Board and business units Wholesale and Rural, DRB business, Control, Enterprise Risk, Sustainability Office and Financial Management. You will act as an enterprise architect in the leadership triangle of the tribe, shaping the technology and application portfolio, mitigate short term impediments and support a long term sustainable and cost effective landscape.

Key responsibilities & skills
• You chart the current architecture and shape the target architecture for the 3 areas and 30+ data-driven applications in the tribe
• You document the architecture decisions in clear and readable formats and models
• You coach and educate solution architects and business analysts in architecture principles and methods
• You leverage your experience, strong market network, understanding of the business drivers and knowledge of current and emerging technology and its practical application
• You set direction in the dialogue between tech, business and architecture to make well-founded decisions and set priorities

Over 80 people in the architecture department are responsible for the development, maintenance and enforcement of the IT strategy and architecture of Rabobank, to realize an effective long-term direction for IT in support of the bank’s strategy – in commercial, efficiency and risk perspective. Working together is the way we work; as 1 effective team at Rabobank.
As the tribe architect CFO BI&A you will be part of the Finance & Reporting architecture team with 2 other tribe architects and 4 area architects (domain architects).

• This is a senior role: 8 years of working experience in similar areas / roles of which a minimum of 5 years of architecture experience in a complex environment
• Experience with the application of architecture methods
• Ability to employ two modes of planning, short cycled to steer going concern decisions and longer term in the form of architecture roadmaps
• Ability to coach and grow a group of solution architects
• Affinity with Azure Cloud technology • Identify opportunities and innovations to simplify
