Job description: We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join our team of 5 solution architects specialized in Conversational Banking and Artificial Intelligence within the tribe Digital & Customer Interaction (DCI). This tribe is a.o. owner of customer data, CRM, marketing, all customer interactions and much more. In the role as solution architect, you will be responsible for designing future-proof IT-solutions and for guiding the DevOps teams during the implementation. You will be part of the squad management triangle together with the product owner and tech lead and collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure our IT solutions meet the highest standards of reliability, scalability, and security.

The area, or department, CRM & Conversational Banking ensures on one hand that customers experience the best possible direct interaction with the bank, either via virtual assistants or via live agents. On the other hand, this area ensures that our colleagues are supported in the best possible way when they aid our customers via AI-based co-pilots. Your contribution is to bring the current contact center landscape to the next level by designing new (gen)AI-based functionality that assist our agents and customers. You will do so not independently, but together with other solution architect and business architects.

We expect you to:
• Be passionate and knowledgeable about (gen)AI technology and its future capabilities
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into solution designs that fits the enterprise and domain architecture
• Deliver formal architecture documents such as solution designs and Project Start Architectures (PSA)
• Ensure compliance with architectural principles and guidelines
• Take ownership and responsibility for the quality of technical designs and realized solutions
• Guide the impacted DevOps teams during the realization/refinement of your designs
• Guarantee the usability of the deliverd IT-solutions by ensuring the: quality, performance, availability, scalability, security, privacy, integrity and accessibility
• Have experience in a similar, heavily regulated, organization i.e. you are able to assist the DevOps teams in Information Security Management (ISO 27001 and SOC 2) e.g. write security designs, disaster-recovery plans and performing security assessments.
• Advocate the capabilities that your squads deliver in supporting other squads within the tribe.

Requirements

A person who likes a challenge and doesn’t mind bringing our conversational technologies to the next level. Obviously, you are customer focused, independent, a conceptual thinker, analytical skilled, but also a team player and transparent in your communication. In addition, it's important that you recognize everything in the following:
• Academic level
• Knowledge and experience with digital platforms and relevant technologies such as Genesys Cloud, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft Azure OpenAI
• Practical experience with architecture modelling techniques and methods e.g. Archimate and/or TOGAF
• Knowledge/experience with designing cloud native solutions (preferably on Azure)
• You are familiar with the rituals of Agile / Scrum
• Good command of English (business level)
• You are not afraid to voice your professional opinion and have an open view on the future.

Working conditions This job role is split between operational (run) and project (build) work (75%/25%). Some changes are planned outside business hours to minimize business impact. This job vacancy is for the location Utrecht (NL).
