The Reliability & Risk Manager manages the portfolio of risk within ASML for all key production sites for Asset Management. This role contributes to the Industrial Masterplan through feasibility studies and plays a leading role in establishing global knowledge on risks and reliability, as well as standards to be applied worldwide.

Global Standards and Framework

Define the requirements relevant for compliance with regulations, policies, and guidelines in the market, as well as those applicable within ASML.

Develop strategies, policies, standards, and tools for Reliability and Risk Management for CRE worldwide.

Embed reliability and risk management into the CRE business strategy.

Responsible for the Risk Masterplan and related reliability and risk benchmarking methods, including risk evaluation for product, process, and people in the masterplan.

Contribute to the Industrial Masterplan and play a leading role in establishing global competence knowledge and/or standards to be applied worldwide.

Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and guidelines regarding sustainability performance, maintainability, business continuity, etc.

Ensure integrated process design for Asset Management design (L3/L4), including End-to-End process framework.

Define and manage global Asset Maintenance libraries, including standard asset risk management.

Standardize performance criteria worldwide with the regions, including related reporting activities and guidelines, leading to uniform management information and insights for controlling and managing reliability and risk.

Create awareness regarding risk assessments and risk analyses within the CRE teams.

Drive innovation and develop solutions, settings, and asset configurations in collaboration with other experts in the team and supplier companies.
Reliability & Risk Analysis and Optimization

Initiate, coordinate, and execute risk and reliability assessments and business impact analyses to meet the specifications outlined in policies and guidelines.

Write or coordinate mitigation plans to contain risks and ensure a handover to program management.

Assure execution of plans through assurance or quality control activities.

Manage compliance with requirements set by the insurance company and oversee accompanying evidence/documentation.
Projects
-
Validate/review (concept) designs, PIDs, FMEAs, Program of Requirements, test plans, and test results for projects while participating in projects by defining user and technical requirements and acceptance criteria.

Conduct validations and/or reviews in project designs.

Collaborate with business lines regarding the use, re-use, and design concepts for utilities, building services, and manufacturing environments.

Education and Experience
• Academic working level obtained by education and work experience.
• Relevant Bachelor/Master degree in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant working experience in a design, engineering, maintenance, or risk management function.
Skills
• Quality of strategies, policies, standards, and tooling.
• Quality of Mitigation Plans.
• Thorough risk and reliability assessments, including potential risks, impact and likelihood, and recommending risk mitigation strategies.
• Reports on risk management activities and recommendations for improvements.
• Satisfaction of internal stakeholders with delivered product and communication.
Arbeidsvoorwaarden
Working Conditions
This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
