Software Security Specialist

Bij de ICT organisatie van DUO wordt eigen software ontwikkeld in de programmeertaal Java. Er wordt veel met nieuwe methoden en technieken gewerkt. Het is een uitdaging om als bruggenbouwer tussen ICT Beveiliging en Software ontwikkeling te kunnen werken.

De teams waarin deze software wordt ontwikkeld bestaat uit diverse disciplines zoals ontwikkelaars, testers en applicatiebeheerders. Als software ontwikkelaar in het software security support team help je het team zelf en de DevOps teams de security kwaliteit van code te verbeteren.

Je bent in staat om met Java ontwikkelaars te discussiëren over hun code, maar je kunt ook zelf software ontwikkelen.

Eisen

Opleidingsniveau: HBO werk- en denkniveau (3 jaar)

Aantoonbare ervaring: Als ontwikkelaar (3 jaar)

Kennis van en nieuwsgierigheid naar: Producten en werkwijzen die te maken hebben met Java software ontwikkeling (3 jaar)

• Hibernate
• Apache Maven
• Angular JS
• Jenkins
• Git / Subversion

Je bent een teamspeler en weet security op een positieve manier toe te passen in een Agile omgeving (1 jaar).

Wensen

• Oracle Certified Associate Java Programmer (certificaat)
• Een secure coding certificaat (pré/opleiding)
• Kennis van Kubernetes en Linux (pré/opleiding)

Competenties

Je beschikt over analytisch vermogen om een probleem of vraagstuk goed uit te zoeken binnen een bepaald tijdswindow.

Je bent communicatief sterk en kunt met andere specialisten, zoals ontwikkelaars, testers en pentesters, inhoudelijk discussiëren over (security) software.

Je ziet voordelen in geautomatiseerd security testen van software.

Working conditions: This job role offers a balanced split between operational (run) and project (build) work, with a distribution of 75% operational and 25% project-related tasks. To minimize the impact on business operations, some changes may be scheduled outside of regular business hours.
